Se ordena la evacuaci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n civil norteamericana y el coronel Steve Janowski obliga a Linda Day, una joven de las naciones unidas, de quien se ha enamorado instant\u00e1neamente, a abandonar el pa\u00eds. Herido en combate, Steve reencuentra a Linda en un hospital japon\u00e9s.
